Crab got your tongue? A hazard for any language learner!
This blog may help you with knowing what is essential at the current moment and also sometimes will give you something different from what we are focussed on in class. Note that last year's blog is also accessible here - and will not always be relevant to your studies.
... Deai website is great for revising family: Have a look at this...
and a variety of stories are found here: Look at the family sections...
The first outcome you will be completing in this unit is Outcome 2B. This outcome involves listening to and obtaining information from spoken texts to complete notes and charts in English. Most important at this stage is to revise grammar and vocabulary, so that you are able to understand listening exercises. Therefore listening is incredibly important.
NB: ~てform and plain form of verbs is very important at this stage. If you are unsure, here is a useful resource.
There are lots of useful games to try as well as links to powerpoint explanations on that page. Have a look!

Year 11 Voki recording
Task 1:
Your task is to record in Japanese on voki.com, 3 things you have to do every day.
1. Open up http://www.voki.com/
2. Click on the green button.
3. Create and customise your character.
4. Record using the microphone onscreen, via your computer. Find a quiet spot to record.
6. Once you have recorded, please email me the 'code', so I can listen to your Voki.
Eg. They can't be these three things! What else do you have to do every day? What are rules at home or school? I've recorded these three sentences as an example. Listen to them below.
トーストを食べなければなりません。
しゅくだいをしなければなりません。
学校へ行かなければなりません。
